Detox Smoothie

Time to get your vitamins! On Sunday nights I like to make a big batch of smoothies and then freeze them in small tupperware so I have one ready each morning. You can do almost any combination of fruit + veggie + liquid (almond milk, coconut water, juice, etc). I love this one below!

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 1 inch ginger root
  • 2 cups of frozen strawberries
  • 1 large grapefruit peeled and sliced
  • 2 apples sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of honey and lemon juice
First, blend the spinach and ginger root with one cup of water. Then, add the strawberries, grapefruit and apples. Lemon and honey are optional and add a little more flavor! Enjoy.
