Peaches is going global!

It is with excitement and butterflies (figurative, not literal) that I’m announcing to all two people who read my blog that I just finished my application to CIEE Teach Abroad to live and work in Spain beginning in September. I feel like out of all of my life ideas, this just may be the absolute best one I’ve ever had. My friend, Charlotte, and I will hopefully be teaching in the Andalucia region of Spain. We “preffed” Sevilla, Cadiz and Granada;  I feel confident we will be happy wherever we are placed! Living in Dallas for the past five years has been a total success. I have done exactly what I came here to do: start my career, make new friends, write, travel, cook, run a half-marathon and grow up (this last part was actually against my will – but I’m happy it happened). Now, it’s time for a really big life adventure and chance to be completely immersed in a new country, language and culture.

This move comes from my desire to be bilingual, continue traveling and write. Also, I plan to give this blog a makeover and make it a “real” travel blog. Peaches is going global! Hope you can come visit!
